What is a remnant? Carpet remnants are exactly as it sounds. A small piece left over from a larger roll of carpeting. Therefore, these small pieces are only enough for a small room or an area rug. You can square it off and cut it to any desired length and width to create any size area rug you desire. You can take a larger remnant and cut it into multiple matching area rugs. They can be bound to create custom area rugs.
