Continuous filament nylon combines the properties of nylon with bulkiness. The result is a 3-dimensional random crimping process applied to each individual fiber. This gives it high abrasion resistance and durability. It also has Lexshield plus which is Lexmark's brand of Scotch Guard. Solution dying is kind of like the color of a carrot. When you cut a carrot, the color is orange through and through. The color remains the same throughout the carrot. Solution-dyed carpet is a polymer in the form of a pellet. This pellet is already the color of the carpet. The pellet is then extruded into the carpet fiber where it is never dyed. There are some serious benefits to a solution-dyed carpet. For starters, it is one of the most colorfast materials in the industry. For example, spaces that get lots of natural sunlight, won’t fade. Also, you could use a 50/50 solution of bleach and water to spot clean the carpet. Because it starts the color, it will not fade.

A small piece left over from a larger roll of carpeting.  These small pieces are only enough for a small room or an area rug.  You can square it off and cut it to any desired length and width to create any size area rug you desire. You can take a larger remnant and cut it into multiple matching area rugs. They can be bound to create custom area rugs.
