Glue-down flooring material involves the application of using an adhesive to the concrete base. The installation technique allows the flooring to have great dimensional stability. There are two types of adhesives that can be used when gluing down vinyl flooring. First is Hard Set Adhesive which is used for heavy loads and foot traffic. Therefore, it reduces the appearance of indents.  The second adhesive is Pressure Sensitive Adhesive. It is the most used because it is more versatile and easier to replace.

Genesis glue-down vinyl has ArmourBead technology. ArmourBead is up to 5 times more durable than typical polyurethane surfaces. The polyurethane has super-fine nanoparticles of ceramic dispersed into it. When heated, the nanoparticles and the polyurethane fuse together. It forms a mixture that creates an extraordinarily durable finish.
