Beige Habitat Wood Look Ceramic Tile is a 7″ X 28″ made in Spain.  This beautiful tile has the graining of real hardwood flooring.  But, remains smooth to the touch.  It’s great if you want the look of real hand-scraped wood, without the trip hazard.  To clarify, it looks simply beautiful.

In the past, bathrooms, kitchens, and foyers were the only rooms that used ceramic. With the introduction of wood look tile that concept is changing. As a result, every room in a home can be tiled. Ceramic tile may be the only flooring material that truly works in any room in your home.

Red or white clay is used to make tile. Molded to form the desired shape. Then, baked in a kiln to remove most of the moisture. The higher the temperature, the better the tile.  When using the same temperature as porcelain it is called High-Density Ceramic.  The tile is then baked and coated with a special glaze. This is what protects and seals the tile. This keeps the tile from absorbing stains while improving the durability of each piece. The glaze is also what gives the ceramic tile its color and pattern. Ceramic tile can come in several different designs and sizes.
