Stair Nose Three Eighth Inch Unfinished Red Oak is used to finish out stairs.  It works great on solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl flooring.  Why use coordinating trim that cost way too much.  Coordinating trim is just what it sounds like.  It doesn’t quite match, it coordinates.  Unfinished trim is great if you are going to Stain it to match trim you already have or flooring you are installing.  Don’t spend time running around trying to match your flooring when you can finish it your self much cheaper.
