Shoe Mold Primed Pine Finishing Trim is great to finish out your flooring projects.  Shoe molding is much the same as quarter round.  It has a 90-degree angle on the backside but instead of being a perfect quarter radius, its profile is a bit squatter.  Using shoe molding gives the floor installer more latitude in their end cuts.  Since the shoe molding is such a small and flexible piece of trim, it can meander up and down with the floor.  This helps hide the unevenness of an imperfect floor.  Works great on solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl flooring.  Why use coordinating trim that cost way too much?  Coordinating trim is just what it sounds like.  It doesn’t quite match, it coordinates.  Primed Shoe Mold is great if you are going to paint it to match trim you already have.
