Egg Shell Structure Nylon Remnant 5644 by Dream Weaver is a 25-ounce nylon carpet.  The structure is a soft pure-color carpet.  Pure color is Dream Weavers Proprietary brand of solution-dyed fiber.  Solution-dyed carpet is when a polymer in the form of a pellet, which starts the color of the carpet is extruded into a long strand of single-ply fiber.  Therefore, this means that the carpet is never dyed in a solution of color and water.  Solution dying is kind of the color of a carrot.  When you cut a carrot, the color is orange through and through.  The color remains the same throughout the carrot.  Therefore, there are some serious benefits to the solution-dyed carpet.  For starters, it is one of the most colorfast materials in the industry.  For example, if you have a living space that gets lots of natural sunlight, it won’t fade.  Also, you could use a 50/50 solution of bleach and water to spot clean the carpet and it will not fade.

What is so special about Nylon?  The elasticity, strength, and durability of Nylon make it excellent for areas with very high foot traffic.  Nylon can be bent, crushed, and even stretched to over 33% of its original length for long intervals.  Just like a nylon stocking, you can pinch it and pull it out and it snaps right back.  Just like the stocking, the nylon carpet will go back to its original shape.
